| Big pendulum is a large recreation, which is in high-altitude and high-speed.It is a special equipment related to the life safety belongs to Special equipmentsafety law of the People’s Republic of China. It is a way of leisure and tourismand popular in public. Now, almost every new playground or theme park has abig pendulum, whose quality and safety performance is directly related to thepersonal safety of the tourists, which has been widespread concerned in theinternational community. In China, recreation facilities industry startedrelatively late, was still in the development stage, especially for the design andmanufacture of big pendulum,owing to lacking strong technology andexperiences, even the leader in the industry has just got rid of imitating theimported equipment, in the stage of self-exploration and rely one’s own efforts.This paper is based on the mechanical analysis of one domestic largependulum’s main structure, the key components of the finite element models areestablished to analyze and calculate. At the same time, in order to ensure the reliability and stability of the connection between the various components, thestrength of the weld and bolt connection between the components are checked.Finally, using the telemetry data record system of TDR3.1and resistance straingage of BE120-3CA, the stress tests of the big arm and foot rack are conducted.Through the study found that the conventional mechanical theory calculate ismeet for the design of big pendulum basically, but because of the diversity ofequipment configuration and load combination, the design combined with finiteelement method can greatly improve the reliability and efficiency of the results.Stress testing technology, especially the electric method can play a good effectin the design and verification of big pendulum. Through the theoretical analysisand practical test, it can be proved that the strength design of the big pendulumcan meet the requirements of national standard. From the contrast analysis ofmeasured data and the theoretical value, we have learned that wind load, selfweight and weight caused by the passengers are in a smaller proportion of allwork load proportion, the big pendulum working load is mainly from theequipment violent sports. Stress value of each point in big arm presents periodicvariation with driving force loading cyclically. The issue of select the impactcoefficient reflects the current standards are insufficient in China. The researchin related fields should be strengthened. |
