With the popularity and development of wood-frame houses, industry needs more and more plate, in the construction of wooden houses process,it requires a lot of lumber used to build the main structure of the walls, floor and so on. Heavy woodworking moulder is the basic equipment when planing plate, for the upper and lower sides of the plate and polishing treatment to get structural lumber, Applied to Wooden beams and wooden and other heavy cutting in the large cabin and timbering. Therefore, in order to meet the objective moulder industry trends, to design a large workpiece machining range, compact, high efficiency heavy duty woodworking moulder has important significance.In this paper, design of the heavy woodworking four-side moulder as the key point, the actual needs of sheet metal processing were studied in detail, discusses from the development situation of domestic and foreign heavy woodworking four-side moulder machine, based on the introduction of structure and system of four-side moulder, to understand the design method of the four-side moulder, referring to foreign advanced technology design, design a carpenter heavy four-side moulder, and optimize the lathe bed structure, thereby enhancing the quality of the product design.To determine the main parameters of the heavy woodworking four-side moulder; according to the principle to determine the overall design scheme of the machine tool, put forward the structure and layout of the heavy four-side moulder; ANSYS finite element analysis cutter axis and the bed of the heavy woodworking four-side moulder (analysis of statics and dynamics), through the static analysis, obtain the stress and deformation cloud picture, investigate accuracy and stiffness of moulder, through dynamic analysis (modal analysis), obtain the key parts of the natural frequency and vibration mode, carries on the inspection to the heavy woodworking moulder shock stability; on the basis of that, carry on the body structure optimization design of the heavy woodworking four-side moulder based on finite element method. Select the best body size of machine; finally, complete the three-dimensional modeling and design of heavy woodworking four-side moulder.This paper can be solved in the construction of large wooden process, implementation of the four side planing plate production problems to obtain the material specifications, provide the basis for the design of wood with four-side moulder.
