With the development of large projects and modern manufacturing, electricity demand in various fields is growing, As traditional cable for power transmission, has been unable to meet the large electric current, as a distribution busbar conductors came into being.when the busbar used in current transmission, electrical conductivity, and security sectors that reflect their superiority. It is because of the widespread use of busbar, particularly in power in such a high-risk industry technical requirements, the technological requirements and safety performance of busbar must higher and higher. Busbar processing equipment must meet the characteristics of mass production, high precision, stable quality, its high precision, high level of automation of machine tools, simple operation and so on. However to introduce a numerical control equipment rather pricey, many domestic machine tool plant into busbar processing equipment development and production, but there is a large gap between domestic product and foreign advanced products. Therefore need to develop a set of automated busbar processing equipment of Processing performance, and a high degree of automation, low prices. Kunming Kunkai dedicated CNC equipment Co. Ltd. and Kunming University of Science and Technology cooperate to develop the processing requirements of the busbar.Based on the CNC busbar punching machine for the study, first of all, according to the different functions of machine tools, the machine is divided into robot feeding stations、punching and shearing stations、bending station and so on.separately analysis on structures and processes, while analysis and research the performance of the hydraulic system, screw workbench. Establish simplified mathematical model and its transfer function. After introducted actual parameters of numerical control busbar stamping machine, simulation and analysis by simulink modules of matlab. Then obtained the stability and speed of response.After analysis the structure of machine tool, development and design of hardware and software systems. Comparison of various control systems, determines a solution of "PLC and Touch screen". That is, PLC as the lower computer, human-machine interface the host computer. PLC and HMI for data transmission by serial communication interface, constitute a close relationship of "host and lower". In PLC control system, first resource allocation of I/O, and then design the hardware interface, finally, develop the PLC program and HMI. By debugging and running the control system, indicates that the control scheme to be able to guarantee the accuracy of busbar processing, provides a new idea for the research and development of CNC equipment.
