Nowadays, the garment modeling was a widely used technology in the many fields, like the garment design in CAD or the game application. But the work to produce the knitted clothing which was a kind of special clothing remained a challenge. Because it was a hard work to build a yarn-level model of a complex knitted garment. The structure of the knitted cloth which was formed entirely by the interlacing or interloping of the yarns and the complicated stress made the problem more difficult to be solved.A new modeling technique to build the knitted garment in yarn-level was mentioned. First of all, a new unit named stitch mesh which was designed by users was introduced. The stitch mesh consisted of a series of yarns which were made up of some discrete points. In order to physically simulate the stitch mesh, the interactive operations:add, drag and layer swap were needed in our system. If the stitch mesh was prepared, a triangular mesh model as the system input started to be divided into a finer mesh that represented the layout of stitches, with the technologies: block, tessellation and meshed. At last, depend on the size and shape of each grid in the meshed model, transform the stitch mesh. And make the mesh could be embedded into the grid. It was an efficient work to build yarn-level models of knitted clothing with this method. The system implementation was shown by introducing the function and the implementation of the sub-system.
