The phosphating films on the substrate, the solid lubricant coatings with modified WS2 or with microcapsule and the UV-curing solid lubricant coatings together with their process were studied in detail. The friction and wear characteristics of the solid lubricant coatings were evaluated using an MMW-10 pin-on-disc tribometer under load of 128 N, speed of 180 rpm and test time of 600 s.The main agent and the additive agent of phosphating film forming were changed in order to analysis their effect on parameter of phosphating solution and their relationship, then the optimal phosphating film was achieved when the master agent is 65g/L and the additive agent is 20g/L.The tungsten disulfide(WS2) powder was modified by KH550、epoxy resin E44 and KH570、methyl methacrylate and their microstructure were characterized by the NANO SEM430 scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The results showed that, the dispersibility of these particles were enhanced. The friction and wear characteristics of the solid lubricant coatings filled with these powders were evaluated. The results showed that, the wear mass loss of the solid lubricant coatings decreased and better wear-resistant properties were presented with the increasing of the reaction time between KH550 and WS2. The solid lubricant coatings were more affected by the content of KH570 and methyl methacrylate, while the best friction and wear characteristic was achieved when the proportion of KH570 and WS2 reduced to 1/5.The microstructure of microcapsule of WS2 coated with carboxymethylcellulose sodium and oil coated with SiO2 or PAM were characterized with the NANO SEM430 scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and Axiovert 40 MAT metallurgical microscope. The solid lubricant coatings with these particles were prepared, then the friction and wear characteristics were evaluated. The results showed that, the wear mass loss and the average friction coefficient both decreased, while better lubrication property was performed. Though a certain amount of aggregates were existed on the coatings, worn surface morphologies were smooth, showing a good lubricity, while the best worn surface morphology was achieved by the solid lubricant coating with oil coated by PAM, of which the wear mass loss is nearly zero.The UV-curing solid lubricant coatings were studied with TGA. The effect of each component on coating performance was evaluated by wear test. The results showed that, emulsifier of OP-10 is better than SDBS, the wear mass loss and the average friction coefficient were lower when the content of self-prepared solid lubricant(PEW-50) is between 14% and 16%. Phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green and pigment permanent red were added and their effect on coating performance was evaluated. The results showed that, worse properties were showed after the coatings added with these pigments.
