Mine hoist is the key component of the mining machinery system, which is widely usedin coal, nonferrous metals, such as in mineral industries, is mainly responsible for transporttask of personnel, materials and equipments. it is often referred to as “throat equipment” ofmining machinery equipment. Mine hoist running status directly relates to whether theproduction can be obtained at normal and the security of staff. The spindle is a major part ofthe mine bearing and transmission, therfor, the accurate design of the reliability anddevelopment efficiency is critical. In traditional design process of the spindle structure is lackof theoretical basis, designers mainly adopts semi-theoretical and semi-empirical method,where is the phenomenon of the poor accuracy of design, repeatedly to the design process, thelong cycle of design. With the growth and competitiveness of the market economy, the designdepartment is an urgent need to adopt the modern design method to complete the design of thespindle and to establish a series of perfect design and analysis system for mine hoist spindle.Based on single-rope winding drum hoist and multi-rope friction drum hoist, this paperadapts VB, Access, SolidWorks, ANSYS and other software to finish design, calculation,analysis and optimization of drum hoist by the CAD/CAE technology. Based on databasetechnology, this paper uses integrated development environment of Visual Basic to developthe main spindle design system of single-rope and multi-rope mine drum hoister. This systemcan provide reasonable and effective design basis through the general mathematical model ofmain spindle assembly. It also can accurately and promptly complete main spindle check fromstrength and stiffness; By using the VB-SolidWorks secondary development method, thispaper realizes parametric solid modeling of single-rope mine drum hoister; This paper adoptsmultiple load step loading method for the single rope mine hoist spindle static analysis ineight kinds of typical working condition. It also use Fatigue module to analyze and calculatefatigue life of spindle; VB-ANSYS secondary development method is adopted to establish themulti rope hoist spindle parametric analysis of the system, the system can automaticallyrealize the generation of finite element model, meshing and loading, constraints and thesolving process, quick looking at the distribution of stress and strain of the each part of themain shaft under normal working load and abnormal load, and the main stress concentrationlocation is designed; At last, this paper adapts ANSYS to complete transient dynamicsanalysis of multi-rope friction drum hoist by different load curves.This article in view of the mine hoist spindle series products of CAD/CAE research toreduce the workload of designer, save material, reduce the cost of manufacture and using,shorten the development cycle of the new products, improve the efficiency of design, thesecan be for spindle provides the necessary theoretical basis for optimization and improvement.
