The elliptical vibrating screen has advantages which not only has more capability to transport materials on working platform but also to disperse material layers of both circular vibrating box and linear vibrating screen. The elliptical vibrating screen will effectively increase its output and quality and be used widely in screening machine and other related fields. 3TSK1860 vibrating screen manufactured by a mining equipment factory adopt synchronous gear caused deformation craze, leakage of gearbox and on, bringing much inconvenience to equipment maintenance. Variable trajectory vibrating screen will make the speed, throw-index of screen deck inlet much more than that of discharge end. It will make great improve the efficiency of Vibrating screen and Productivity. For the purpose of increasing screening efficiency and productivity of the vibrating screen and improving lateral force, 3TSK1860 three-axis elliptic vibrating screen is researched. The main research works are listed as follows:The structure of the original vibrating screen was adjusted. The three motors with the same model were used to drive the three vibrators working through a universal joint coupling, and its three-dimensional model was established by software Solid Works. Based on the three-dimensional model to build its mechanical model, the paper analyses synchronism conditions and stability condition of the self-synchronous ellipse vibrating system with stable phase difference built on the self-synchronous vibrating system theory.Vibration differential equation of self-synchronous vibrating system, based on mechanical model of vibrating screen and,has established and is about to solve. Application of software MATLAB, eccentric blocks with stable phase difference impact track of center by different initial angles. Combining with the theory of elliptical material screening, the phase angle can be determined and it is π/3.Equation of motion at any point has been deduced by center motion equation of vibrating screen, applying software MATLAB to carry on simulation analysis of screen motion trail and calculation throw-index of screen surface analog points. The result shows that the throw-index and the angle between elliptical long shaft and x axis of deck inlet are higher than that of discharge end. The trend contributes to material screening and conveying, and effectively improves the efficiency and productivity of the material screening.The dynamic analysis of the adjusted screen box was completed. The results of modal analysis show that the motors are chosen properly and resonance phenomena will not take when it is working. The harmonic response analysis results show that the maximum stress occurs at the spring support for 60.499 Mpa, and holes in the side plate vibrator and other are at a lower level. The adjusted structures effectively improve the force on the side panels, and Allowable stress is 66.2Mpa. The strength is meeting the design requirements.
