The gas producer is the main equipment for the production of gas. Gas as a clean energy, which is easy to burn and convenient to transport, is widely used in building materials, machinery, chemical industry, light industry, metallurgy and refractory materials and other industries.But gas is toxic, flammable and explosive,of high risk. The frequent explosion accidents of gas generator caused by various reasons in the production of gas, bring some serious damage to the safety and health of the employees.This paper takes a case about a gas explosion accident,and analyzes the cause of the accident in detail, and puts forward some countermeasures to strengthen the safe operation of the gas producer. The type of this gas producer is QM-1 types single- stage gas furnace, through the understanding of its working principle and gas basic physical and chemical properties, master the basic theoretical knowledge of gas producer accident. Then through the survey of the explosion scene to collect data and photos about the accident, understand the relevant situation occurred after the explosion of the equipment.Combined experimental analysis of gas explosion occurred after the furnace equipment samples to determine the results of the direct causes and indirect causes of the accident.In order to verify the facts of the explosion accident, according to the relevant data obtained by site investigation, this paper uses ANSYS software to simulate the explosion. According to the actual working status of the gas producer structure, combine with the finite element method to simulate the stress distribution on the inner cylinder, and to simulate the coal-gas producer workshop explosion shock wave, draw their explosive wave propagation which verified the occurrence of the accident process.This paper uses the Fault Tree Analysis method to establish a fault tree of the gas producer explosion accident, and qualitatively analyze the cut set, path sets and structure importance of the fault tree.It provides theoretical basis for adopting the method and measures to avoid accidents and improve the security.Based on the analysis of the causes of the gas producer explosion accident and software simulation,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions and prevention measures for enterprises and government.
