In order to reduce the fire explosion risk of fuel effectively, researchers has developed two kinds of fuel, one is called combustion retardant diesel, using micro emulsification technology to add the water and surfactant into the diesel, and the other is called explosion suppression diesel, adding polymer and compound scatters agent into the diesel. According to the condition of the characteristic of diesel, this article aims at researching the process of transformation and pulverization of liquid drops under the shock wave, the size of the cloud caused by the explosion dispersion, characteristic of the combustion wave by the electric shock and the fireball in the explosion. The major achievements are as follows:(1)The bigger the viscous force is, the higher the We number and the Oh number is, the bigger the drop is,the longer the time of the drop transformation is, the bigger the size of the droplet is, the worse the pulverization process is.(2)The pulverization process of the diesel is the most completely, the size of its cloud is the biggest, that of the combustion retardant diesel is the second, explosion suppression diesel is inadequate in pulverization and the size of its cloud is the smallest.(3)Through the lifting method, determined the minimum ignition of diesel is 0.66 MJ/m2, the same aspect of combustion retardant diesel is 1.12 MJ/m2, the same aspect of explosion suppression diesel is 2.1 MJ/m2. The fireball of diesel develops rapidly,that of the combustion retardant diesel is at the second level, that of the explosion suppression diesel is slowest. The duration of the fireball caused by diesel explosion is 1.4 times that of combustion retardant diesel and 2.3 times that of the explosion suppression diesel. The fireball area of diesel is 2.6 times that of combustion retardant diesel, and 6.5 times that of the explosion suppression diesel. The total radiation energy of explosion of diesel is 1.6 times that of combustion retardant diesel and 3 times that of explosion suppression diesel. The highest temperature of the fireballs of combustion suppression diesel decreases 35% comparing with diesel, and that value of explosion suppression diesel decreases 23% comparing with combustion suppression diesel. The maximum fireball diameter and height of combustion suppression diesel decrease 54% and 42% comparing with diesel and explosion suppression diesel decrease 46% and 55% comparing with combustion suppression diesel. The fireball duration of combustion suppression diesel decreases 38% comparing with diesel and that value of explosion suppression diesel decreases 47% comparing with combustion suppression diesel.(4)The water in the combustion suppression diesel militates in 3 aspects, cooling, isolating air and attenuation concentration of fuel. The compound added in the explosion suppression diesel changes its physical character. The viscous force of the explosion suppression diesel is the biggest among the three kinds of fuel, therefore, the area and the temperature of the fireball is the smallest. The duration of its fireball is the shortest, the radiation energy of its fireball is the lowest.
