Ⅱn the production process of Petrochina Jilin Petrochemical Company Ethylene Propylene Rubber device operation, the C-0200 compressor is a key equipment, its stable operation plays an important role for ethylene propylene rubber production. In January 8, 2009, the production operation process, the compressor piston rod fracture, cause the system to stop for a long time, cause great economic loss. According to statistics, every year and due to the fatigue fracture of the piston rod incalculable economic loss, so the failure of compressor piston rod has a very important significance to investigate the mechanism and prevention countermeasures.Fracture theory based on the study of the piston rod, according to the correlation analysis to carry out the C-0200 compressor piston rod fracture, through the test data, and theoretical analysis (ANSYS), the piston rod damage mechanism was discussed, put forward to improve the working life of piston rod corresponding measures, including the optimization of piston rod mechanical structure, reduce the local strain the stress concentration, reasonable selection of materials and heat treatment for the and precision processing to improve the working life of piston rod. At the same time for the part of a piston rod in the process of installation clearance was optimized and adjusted, and the introduction of condition monitoring system for real-time monitoring of the compressor piston rod working state.The research results show that:the piston rod shaft shoulder design unreasonable, the stress concentration is larger; the surface roughness greatly, affect the service life of the piston rod; through the comparison of chemical composition, chemical composition can determine the piston rod can meet the requirement of practical detection; through the vibration of compressor foundation, anchor bolt installation are not up to standard; the compressor parts installed with the gap part tolerance, need to re adjust.The above measures to ensure the compressor in an overhaul period (3 years) and reliable continuous operation, working life has been improved obviously. Shows that the technology of test and operation effect, preventive measures is feasible and effective.
