To clear the ice and repair road rapidly and effectively,many engineers at home and abroad are getting into the swing of their work on a simple 、 rapid and green technique for snow-melting and deicing and repairing.Microwave is considered as a new and rapid typ e of environmental friendly heating method which attract many engineers attention.The traditional material has the low absorbed efficiencies for microwave,the speed of microwave deicing and repairing is very slowly which is the key point to widespread usi ng of microwave heating technique.Pyrite cinders, which are the waste slags of sulphuric acid manufacturing plants,were used to produce a high strength microwave absorbing aggregate.In this paper,asphalt mixture have a high absorbing efficiency for microw ave by replace traditional aggregates with absorbing aggregates; electromagnetic energy turn into thermal energy when microwave rip into asphalt mixture,and asphalt mixture heating rapidly and uniform by the heat conduction between aggregates.The technique of microwave deicing and repairing was obtain.According to the properties of pyrite cinder which contain higher iron oxide and active siliceous and aluminium components from chainotte, Iron oxide was turn to magnetite through high temperature sintering in reducing atmosphere.High microwave heating efficiency was obtain. The effect of moulding pressure,sintering temperature, holding time and dosage of mineralization agent on the strength and absorbing efficiency o f the ceramic was investigated.The research results show that the strength of ceramic increased with moulding pressure, sintering temperature, holding time and the addition of mineralization agent increasing. The effect of the prepare parameters on the absorbing efficiency of the ceramic is the same as strength. Ceramic’s temperature can reach 823 ℃ under microwave environment in one minute, and strength attain to 87.5 MPa when ratio of the reducing agent and pyrite cinder was 0.1 at 1350 ℃ for 180 min under 5% dosage of Ca F2.By the laboratory tests of absorbing aggregate,the paper presented asphalt mixture with absorbing aggregates which have a high absorbing efficiency for microwave instead of traditional aggregates on the basis of JTG F40-2004. The microwave-heating test was carried out to comp are microwave heating efficiency of common asphalt concrete and absorbing asphalt concrete.The results showed the microwave heating efficiency of asphalt concrete increased with the content of absorbing aggregate increasing;the microwave heating efficiency of absorbing asphalt concrete is 16 times of common asphalt concrete when the content of absorbing aggregate reach totally 100%,in addition,the temperature of asphalt concrete is uniform.
