With the continuous development of information technology, fashion design industry information updates happening also changes with each passing day.For fashion designers and consumers, choice of clothing materials have a direct impact on garment quality and performance.In order to better ensure garment design effect, should correct selection of clothing materials.Intelligent selection method along with the development of The Times in machinery, plastic and other industrial materials have been applied gradually in the choice, and achieved some results, and the current clothing material selection method is still rely on people’s experience, does not comply with the demand of the development of the apparel industry, so you need to put these mature intelligent selection method is applied in clothing design, costume design process more objective.Clothing material category, clothing material performance will affect its application ranges and end- use, different fiber, yarn and fabric structure formed by the fabric performance is not the same.A lot of type clothing, for the choice of material have their specific requirements, so in the design of clothing, it is necessary to analyze the wear conditions of clothing, in materials selection decisions, on the nature of the material itself is relatively accurate comparative analysis is extremely important.This article mainly from the Angle of the intelligent material selection method of two different, one is to choose the candidates for the clothing material, 2 it is preferred in the candidate materials, respectively, and the analytic hierarchy process(ahp) with artificial neural network in two different ways, to comply with the clothing material basis and principle, method of intelligent choice of clothing materials were studied.First of all, from the perspective of select candidate materials by using artificial neural network to choose clothing material, this method tends to consumer demand for clothing wear conditions.Using the 5 w1 h input model based on the structure, from the raw material of clothing material and weaving way, color and the Angle of the tectonic pattern and output model, and then through the market survey to collect samples, and seek suitable numerical method, programming was carried out on the artificial neural network BP algorithm, and using Matlab Gui interface design.This paper collected 200 group of women’s clothing material case, through the case for training, of which 180 group found self-agreement of training results is 94.4%, consistent, and then to the rest of the group of 20 cases for example, found that the generalization of the results of sample training and actual self-agreement was 95%, that the generalization ability of the network training is very good, so using the method of artificial neural network to choose clothing material has the feasibility.Then choose the optimal result from a number of candidate materials.Using analytic hierarchy process(ahp) to selection of clothing materials, the method to compare the properties of the fabric itself.In this paper, through research chooses the typical trench coat, suit, shirt, dress and underwear the five kinds of clothing fabrics in common optimal choice, including conventional fabrics and new fabrics.From the research results can be found that the thickness of the clothing material, bending stiffness, crease elasticity, thermal resistance and moisture permeability index properties affect the choice of materials.This article adopts the way of questionnaire scores, the nature of clothing material sort, and record each candidate fabrics properties of the experimental data.Finally write the matlab language, an input on the fabric properties at the interface between the sorting, get the corresponding optimal choice. These two method in a certain extent, make the user experience at the fabric choice in view of the demand of intelligent, personalized service, which provides the theoretical foundation for the development of garment intelligent material system, thus forming a perfect clothing material for consumer knowledge system, but also provide convenience for costume design work.
