The Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Eco-city Construction In China

Eco-city is an inevitable outcome of urban ecologicalization which can be considered as a human living quarter with communal harmony, economic efficiency and ecological virtuous circle. Eco-city has important practical significance for the construction of the environment-friendly society and long-term harmonious development in China. Adjust the regional planning in such a country with a vast territory and realize the environment justice is the key to solve the problems of eco-city construction.This paper focuses on the existing issues in the eco-city construction process in China and traces their natural, social and economic reasons, gives guidance through environmental justice theory and puts forward some feasible measures. This paper is dedicated to enhance people’s living standard, make a further progress in human civilization, protect the environment in a better way and realize the sustainable development between natural and human society in the guarantee of economic development and social prosperity.This paper introduces the background study and current situation of theoretical research on eco-city from a macroscopic perspective which lead the way to perceptual awareness and rational understanding of eco-city. Then expounds the concept, connotation and characteristics of eco-city that can be used as a theoretical guide for the sake of defining the meaning of the evaluation standard of eco-city in this paper, mainly reveals the ability of Marxist theory on analyzing the practical problems.Secondly, this paper pays great attention on the specific issues in the present construction of eco-city in China. It begins from the empirical analysis of the current situation of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city and finds out the main reasons for those issues. Then absorbed good experience through the summary of the mode adopted in the construction of eco-city in three outstanding foreign cities, draw a conclusion that the eco-city construction can be made a promote by strengthening the function of the government, carrying out scientific and technological innovation and guiding more public participations.Finally, this paper puts forward some strategies and recommendations for the future construction works of eco-city in China from several different angels such as natural ecology, social ecology, economic ecology and so on. It gives people the enlightenment of a strong practical significance.
