With the rapid development of national economy, coal consumption continues to grow that make many coal mines into a deep mining. The key issue of building coalmine inclined shaft in the water-rich and high water-pressure area is to predict the water discharge of the inclined shaft and to relieve water-pressure of the liningA will-be-built coalmine inclined shaft (constructed by shield machine) in Taigemiao, Xinjie was used as background support. Based on relevant literature and fluid-solid coupling mechanism, seepage mechanical characteristics and water discharge of different waterproof and drainage mode were analyzed by using finite difference software (FLAC3D). What’s more, the influence of different parameter of drainaged segment on discharge and lining water-pressure were analyzed in details. The main contents and results are listed as follows:(1) Data about domestic and foreign inclined shaft or tunnel construction was collected and studied. According to the actual situation of the project, a suitable method of discharge prediction and high water-pressure relief, and waterproof-drainage modes were summarized.(2) A fluid-solid coupling mode of the inclined shaft constructed by different waterproof and drainage modes in shallow buried area was built. The seepage field of surrounding rock and soil, the discharge of the inclined shaft, the water-pressure of the segment lining, the stress of the segment lining, and the displacement of segment lining were obtained, and a suitable waterproof and drainage mode was put forward.(3) A fluid-solid coupling mode of the inclined shaft constructed by using drainaged segment in deep buried area was built. The relationship between discharge and water pressure of the segment lining were analyzed in details, along with the change of different drainage hole number, position of drainage hole, and the permeability of grouting area. A optimal solution was calculated for this project.
