Tile Press is used for pressing ceramic powder compressed into bricks, combined mechanical, hydraulic, computer control technology and ceramic technology, is the key equipment for ceramic industry. With China’s ceramic industry development, higher request is put into the performance of Tile Press. Hydraulic system is the core part of Tile Press, its stability, reliability and accuracy affect the Tile Press’performance with stability operation, work rate and dynamic performance of hydraulic system, which largely determines the tile molding quality. So modeling and simulation study to the Tile Press Hydraulic System were significant to the improvement of the hydraulic system. The research of this paper including the following aspects:Analyzed and studied hydraulic circuit, working principle and motion control of a type Tile Press Hydraulic System.Based on AMESim, modeling the main hydraulic cylinder, pressure cylinder, proportional throttle valve, Two-way cartridge valve, accumulator, prefill valve, relief valve, constant pressure variable displacement pump and other hydraulic components of the tile press which is a certain type of YP series, and simulated the static and dynamic characteristics of the main hydraulic components and accomplished the experiment on the static and dynamic characteristics. And the parameters of this simulation model were optimized through the contrastive analysis between the simulation results and experimental date.Using the AMESim to establish the simulation model of the pressing process hydraulic system of the tile press, and accomplishing the simulation analysis, and the dynamic characteristics curves of the piston velocity and pressure in the main hydraulic cylinder and were obtained. Through the contrastive analysis between the experimental data and simulation results to improve the relevant parameters of the Press Hydraulic System, finally a high-similarity simulation model was established, and could be as a reliable virtual console for the press parameters optimization design.The analysis on pressing parameters of hydraulic system of the Tile Press and the important pressing characteristics curve were obtained through the simulation experiments, contributed to studying the different pressing parameters on the influence of pressing process and could be as the theoretic basis aimed at improving pressing parameters of the Press hydraulic system.
