With the improvement of people’s living standard and the development oftechnology, the carpet has been widely used in residences, hotels, gymnasiums,exhibition halls, vehicles, ships, aircrafts and other places. It can not only help todefense the cold and moisture current to keep the internal environment warm andcomfortable, but also reduce the noise and heat flux and decorate the surroundings.The handmade carpet, which is known as “soft gold”, not only has the tight structure,flexible designing, but also can mix dozens of color together harmoniously to obtainfascinating stereo visual effect. Unfortunately, the high labor intensity, low productionefficiency, long manufactured cycle, expensive cost input has contribute to its lowmarket share which accounts for only1%of the total consumption of the world.The application of computer technology and the fully digital control technologyin the fabric embroidered flocking robot can help to analyze the pattern of flocking inadvance and then generate a series of motion control instruction to control theautomatic flocking action. As a result, it can take place of the traditional manualoperation.This thesis mainly explained the fully digital fabric embroidered flocking robotcontrol system. The main research work and achievements has been generalized blow:(1) By analyzing the operating principle of the fully digital fabric embroideredflocking robot system architecture, it designed an overall architecture of themechanical-electrical control system and software platform of the digital fabricembroidered flocking robot. (2) In order to realize the spear flocking fabric manufacturing craft, a new kind of NCcontrol system which is equipped with the industrial computer+Gali1motion controlcard as the control core has been put forward. The paper also introduced axis controlstrategy of the four axis linkage motion control system which is developed to realizethe precise control of the location and speed. The result showed that it satisfied themanufacturing craft of stitch length and tracking.(3) Design the condition monitoring system to improve the reliability. Considering thepossibility of power failure, driver breakdown and yarn flaw, this thesis designed therelevant methods for monitoring and troubleshooting to guarantee the reliability.(4) Use the actual enterprise orders as an example to prove the practicability of thefully digital fabric embroidered flocking robot control system. We compared the orderproduct with the traditional manual carpet and found that the ones from flockingmachining had better density, higher surface quality and production efficiency.
