Supported by the school and cooperated with the colleagues, the author of this paper designs a short school-based curriculum (SBC) about beverage, which is based on the requirement and interest of the students. Based on students, this beverage course sticks to STS (science technology society) and ideas of high school education. Before implementation, the author carefully listened to the opinions from the students, and considered the experience and knowledge they had. The course includes three parts and eleven units, and was carried out in the first grade of high school in one semester. During the implementation, according to the feedback and real effect from the students, the author continuously adjusted the implementing plan, and assessed the effects by ex ante and ex post testing. In general, this SBC was welcomed by the students and all the expected effects were attained.
