Solid acid and alkali catalyst play an important roles in catalyst extended family members. In recent years, more and more catalytic workers cast the attention to it which become the res-earch hot spot.Solid acid and alkali catalyst, especially solid super acid, alkali catalyst for having the especial identity, such as high acid, alkali strength, good catalytic activity, relatively low cat-alytic temperature, easy and reaction system separation, renewable and reuse, no corrosion and do not produce pollution caused by chemical advantages of domestic and international atten-tion.They have also been increasingly research causing the enterprises' attention.In recent years, with the development of the discipline of material inorganic and organic compound material, people have made great progress in this field, especially the organic composite conductive materials and absorbing materials, for example glowing materials intriguing more and more researchers' interesting.The purpose of developing catalyst is to apply with the new catalyst, especially solid super acid, alkali research and found that this catalyst applications and research range have been chemical workers as a task and responsibility. The lab has independently developed SO42-/MxOy type of solid super acid andγ-Al2O2-O2-2Na+ type of solid super strong alkali catalyst. this two kinds of catalysts are good applica -tion foreground used in industrial fields. We have explained the case about the two kinds of catalyst in organic synthesis, application situation, and made the further exploration in this paper.The first part of this paper summarized the development of the research of the solid super acidic and basic catalysts which included the classification, preparation, methods of superficial syndrome and the application in the organic synthesis. The applications and the methods of coordination of new composite materials were also mentioned in this paper. Research program was proposed as followed.Based on existing research of this laboratory, the author employed the solid super acidic and basic catalysts to undergo the process of ester exchanging fish oil,a,a'-bis(furfuryl) cyclopentan-one,α,α'-bis(furfuryl) cyclophextanone,benzophenone cond- ensation pentaerythritol etc. The results show that this kind of catalyst has very good catalytic performance in above mentioned reactions after modification of the reaction condition.In the ester exchanging reaction catalyzed byγ-Al2O2-O2-2Na+ solid super basic catalyst, the aspects which influenced the percentage of the ethyl esterification of fish oil, such as, the water content of fish oil, PH, the dosage of the catalyst, reaction time, reaction temperature, molar ratio of the starting materials were discussed. The percentage came up to 86.5% after modification of the reaction condition.The reaction temperature, the ratio of the starting materials, the dosage of the catalyst and the reaction time were primarily modified in the ketal reaction catalyzed byγ-Al2O2-O2-2Na+ solid super basic catalyst.,The yield with a,a'-bis(furfuryl) cyclopentanone,a,a'-bis(furfuryl) cyclophextanone is up to 91.8%,86.3%。Concerning to the ketal reaction catalyzed by SO42-/MxOy solid super acid catalyst, the percentage of the yield can achieve to 78.1% after the modification of the dosage of the catalyst, reaction time, reaction temperature, the ratio of the starting materials and the dosage of the solvent.Finally, based on exiting preparation methods,experimental synthesis a new kind of inorganic-organic functional material, which development direction for catalyst preparation.
