The flying shear is an important valuable equipment in continuous rolling line and the control and adjustment are extremely complex. Its operation has a direct impact on rolling line production efficiency. Because the flying shear in the moving, its structural adjustment and control are more complex than common shear, the requirements of design and manufacture also higher.The paper introduces the basic structure of the flying shear and shear trigger and analyses its working principle in the process of moving, through the vector matrix method to establish the kinematics model of synchronous institutions and shear integration. MATLAB-the analytical software, prepare the shear kinematics program and simulate cut shearing mechanism of trajectory in different eccentricity and different times. According to the simulation results, the synchronous speed has a properties which can regulate shear speed in a certain range and explore the noise sources in shearing work. SolidWorks-the three-dimensional software, establish the 3D model of flying shear.Using the SimMechanics modules simulate kinematics and also proof the integration of the shearing mechanism motion model is correct.Based on the flying shear transmission system parameters, this paper deduces the length domain of six basic shearing and K times shear, analyses the basic length shearing only relate to variator s ratio of CVT and the ratio of shearing spindle motor related to properties. With the help of kinematic model, taking the synchronization of the horizontal rocking velocity of the cut break point and feeding speed as the principle, Research is done on the graphic method based on fixed length to gain the best eccentricity for the synchronous body under shear length L, also an automatic computer program for solving and plotting is developed. The solving process to get the eccentricity e is demonstrated using the developed computer program and limited measurement software. According to the quantitative analysis of speed synchronization in the shearing region and verticality between the shear blade and rolled piece, it indicates that the new method is not only accurate but also improved shear behavior of fly shear compared with the results derived from original data.The research results will play an important instructing role in theory to design and transform the flying shear.
