The oxidation process of 15Cr2Ni3MoW steel perforated head in both atmosphere of the water-alcohol vapor and the oxygen had been investigated, including the oxidation kinetics, oxide film morphology, adhesion between oxide film and the wear resistance; The influence of shot blasting pretreatment on the oxidation process had also been studied. The formation mechanism and the change of mechanical properties of the oxide film had been analyzed with the experimental results and theoretical. The study had been proceeded by means of wear test, hardness test, XRD phase testing, metallographic analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis and other methods. The experimental content and the main conclusions are as follows:(1) The influence of oxidation atmosphere on Oxidation kinetics, oxide morphology, adhesion strength and wear resistance of the perforated head. Result is that:The oxidation rate in the oxygen atmosphere of the perforated head is much larger than the oxidation rate in the water-alcohol vapor atmosphere; The morphology of the oxide film generated in the water-alcohol vapor atmosphere is more uniform, smooth, dense than the oxygen atmosphere. The binding force and wear resistance of oxide film generated in the water-alcohol vapor atmosphere is better than the oxygen atmosphere. (2) The influence of shot blasting pretreatment before oxidation on Oxidation kinetics, oxide morphology, adhesion strength and wear resistance. Result is that:shot blasting pretreatment reduced oxidation rate of the perforated head in both atmosphere of the water-alcohol vapor and the oxygen. The morphology of oxidation film generated shot blasting pretreatment done before oxidation is more uniform and compact, no large cracks. The binding force and wear resistance of oxide film generated done before oxidation is better than the absence of shot blasting pretreatment before oxidation.
