Shot blasting machine is one of the most commonly used equipment in the manufacturing industry to clean,polish and strengthen the non-machined surface of various special-shaped parts.The continuous high-speed movement of hard projectiles during the shot blasting process will also cause rapid wear of the internal cavity components of the equipment..At present,various series of shot blasting machines generally have a contradiction between shot blasting efficiency and equipment life.Optimizing the structure of the core component shot blasting machine and upgrading the intelligent control technology of the whole machine is an important way to improve efficiency and reduce losses.Research and study related theories on machinery,fluids,automatic control,and computer applications,combine the target shot blasting device structure and operating process parameters,and formulate an optimization plan for the shot blasting device with the goal of increasing efficiency and reducing losses.With the help of computer co-simulation and application of key technologies,a three-dimensional model of the target shot blasting machine is established in the Solidworks environment;the structure is simplified and compatibility is processed into ANSYS ICEM software,meshing is performed and its effectiveness is verified,laying a foundation for the effective implementation of EDEMFLUENT co-simulation The foundation of the software environment.In the EDEM environment,the dynamic simulation of the flow field of the projectile is performed,the main parameters of the gas and solid two-phase flow field are collected,and the data is processed to quantify the indicators that affect the projectile ejection velocity and their correlation;study the change law of the flow field to determine the ejection velocity Local structure optimization parameters such as pellets and flow field channels.Modify the original model of the shot blasting machine and make a reasonable grid division,import the EDEM-FLUENT coupling environment to simulate and analyze the new shot blasting machine,demonstrate the optimization results and implement further improvements.Design and manufacture an improved prototype shot blasting machine,formulate a test plan according to the actual production process regulations,and complete the prototype appraisal.The results show that the increase of the air inlet of the prototype can improve the poor flow of the projectile caused by the local negative pressure;the speed of the new shot blaster is 2300~3000rpm,the diameter of the abrasive projectile is 0.6~2.0mm,and the installation angle of the blade wheel and the directional sleeve is 14~20°.Obtain high-efficiency and low-wear operating results.After the improvement,the working efficiency of the shot blasting machine is increased by 13.3%;the service life of the equipment wearing parts is expected to be increased by 100 h.
