Longitudinal Profile plate is a kind of low cost and source reduction product and which can be effective control in the rolling process, so the output is hugeness. Overseas, the LP plate has been widely applied for shipbuilding, Bridges building and automobile industry. Because its deformation process and control process are very difficult, the rolling technologies of Longitudinal Profile are still in exploration stage in China.This paper studied the deformation rules and the thickness control model in the Longitudinal Profile rolling process; Base on the study of deformation rules in the deformation area, establish the rolling force and length prediction mathematical model; Simulate the whole rolling process by finite element software ANSYS/ LS-DYNA, compared numerical simulation results with mathematical model results, they are consistent; analyze the influence of the slab tilt angle, friction factor, and the ratio of width to thickness in the simulation rolling process of Longitudinal Profile; Study the thickness control strategy and establish the control model of dynamic target absolute AGC.The paper study the deformation rules and thickness control strategy in the Longitudinal Profile rolling process, by integrating analytical method, the numerical simulation method and experimental method, the result can provide a certain reference value for rolling technologies of Longitudinal Profile.
