With the development of the level of integrated mining and increase the proportion of lower coal group mining, increasing powdered coal content, and line-haul, there is a large part powdered coal in users, resulting the increasing of the conflict between lump coal shortage and large backlog.Coke products in our non-national standard, and technological secrets, no communication, not public, largely restricted the coke technology.Yunnan is a major province of coal resources. The large backlog of powdered coal and difficult to use has become a problem. There is an important significance in researching the method which make the powdered coal to coal or coke and industrialization.The production of calcium carbide with lime and carbon material (coke, anthracite, petroleum coke, etc.) as the main raw material in the calcium carbide furnace, relying on high-temperature melts reaction of arc formation of calcium carbide. Resource-poor areas in the coke, coke production of calcium carbide can be used as alternative raw materials with a reducing agent is one.This paper describes the province to the anthracite powder as raw materials with suitable adhesive, by bonding, compression molding, and then be formed coke by carbonization, making it suitable for high-quality electric furnace production of calcium carbide reluctant for the realization of industrialization, technology and theory lay the basis for the operation; through the energy balance calculation to determine the choice of charcoal stove and the overall design process.Testing process mainly adhesive forming tests at high temperature carbonization, coke quenching test.
