Xi'an Public Environmental Behavior Impact Factors Empirical Research

Since the 1990s, the rapid development of industrial economy brings highly developed material civilization, and spirit civilization construction in human have achieved many achievements. However, the global environment problem increasingly fierce.The natural resource shortage and frequent natural calamity bring serious loss to the economy. The governments have pay more attention to the environment issue. How to change the environment status has become a hot social problem, and "public participation in environmental protection" is a kind of mainstream ideology.Based on the questionnaire data, this paper analyzes the factors of public environmental behavior of xian with column league analysis and contrast analysis methods.The result shows that the factors of personal environmental habits and public environmental behavior are different. Occupation, the levels of education, environmental awareness and environmental protection knowledge have significant effect on the personal environmental habits. Among these factors, the influence of environmental protection knowledge is more stable. While, age, marital status, residence, occupation, the levels education, environmental awareness and environmental protection knowledge have significant effect on public environmental behavior.Among them,occupation, education degree and the environmental knowledge have more stable influence.Finally, we put forward some suggestions on the actuality:Provide environmental protection knowledge education,strengthen the environmental propaganda among different areas, and elevate the level of education level.
