In recent years, with the development of fieldbus technology, existing control technology has been unable to meet the requirements of monitoring system of mining transportation. As a new control technology, CC-Link has some advantages, such as more rapid data transmission rate, big capacity. CC-Link has some functions, such as auto-refreshment, booking station, RAS. CC-Link could meet the requirements of monitoring system of mining transportation. But the application of CC-Link in the monitoring system of mining transportation is still blank. So, developing and researching in this field has great engineering significance.Through consulting a large number of literatures about fieldbus technology and mine monitoring technology, researched and developed the 1800 monitoring system of mining transportation based on CC-Link.Research and development of the system include network structure design, network communication program design, control program design, HMI design.The network structure is composed by three layers. In the first layer, CC-Link was used to connect the remote I/O module and CC-Link master station module through bus structure. The second layer is control layer network. In the second layer, the fiber was used to connect PLC by double-loop network mode, so that this network layer has strong redundancy function. In the third layer, the enthernet is used to connect PLC and computer. Through setting the correct network parameters, system was successfully debugged. Compared to other network structure, this structure has more rapid data transmission rate, good real-time performance, strong anti-interference ability and more powerful extension ability.Function block design was adopted in system program design. Function block not only has more stronger error handing ability, but also can shorten cycle. The program design includes the trail guidance program design and tri-color signal lamp program design, etc.The HMI was exploited by the software of Kingview6.53, not only can realize monitoring under normal conditions and abnormal conditions, but also has the function of data query.The results show that the system not only applies to monitoring system of metal mining transportation but also can be extended to other monitoring system of mine transportation systems and related industries.
