Benzophenone UV-absorbers have been widely adopted in high polymer material additives, cosmetic and textile finishing agent, as low cost and good ultraviolet absorption in the range from 200 to 400nm. However, with the improvment of industrialization and people's living standard, its applied limitation is more and more outstanding. This ultraviolet absorber have weakness including bad compatibility with high-molecular material, being hard to dissolve in water, low molecular and so on. Based on this, in this paper we successfully used mannose grafted with benzophenone structure to improve its water-solubility and to further expand application fields.In this paper, we use D-mannose, 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone(UV-O), 4-hydroxyaceto- phenone, 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone as the main raw material, successfully synthesize final products 4-formyl-phenyl-β-D-mannosidase(4a), 3-hydroxy-4-methyl-phenyl-β-D-mannosi- dase(4b), 3-hydroxy-4-benzoyl)phenyl-β-D-mannosidase(4c) by Protection reaction(I), Mitsunobu reaction(II), Hydrolysis reaction(III). All product structures were confirmed by FT-IR, HNMR, MS successfully. Investigated the impact of the amount of catalyst, reagent ratio, reaction temperature and time on the reaction (I), (II), (III). We found the best recipe of reaction (I), (II), (III). Reaction (I): (1):(D-mannose):TsOH = 2.2:1:0.105, 35℃, time 2 days, DMF as the sovent, bring in 56.8% yield; Reaction (II): TPP:DIAD:UV-O:(2) = 1.2:1.2:1:1.5, time 24 hours, room temperature, bring 3a-3c in 54.2%, 58.7%, 64.6% yield. The best conditions of hydrolysis reaction(III): actetic acid as hydrolysis acid, concentration of acid is 80%(volume), 80℃, time 1 hour, bring 4a-4c in 65.2%, 60.6%, 68.5% yield.The solubility and the UV-absorption of (3a-3c,4a-4c) were tested and the application performance in electrospinning was discussed. The result showed that 3a-3c remained the same solubility with raw materials, had no improvement in water-soluble; 4a-4c showed good solubility in methanol and water. The introduction of mannose group can cause blue shift. The UV absorption of product have been improved in 350~400nm area. When the dosage of 3c increased gradually from 0.1% to 1% in the spinning solution, the UV absorption were enhanced abviously. At the electron microscope, fiber uniform morphology, no beaded structure, suggesting that the configuration of the spinning solution and spinning conditions have good performance.
