Storm surge is the Bohai Sea, Laizhou Bay area in particular, the importance of marine natural disasters. During the cold winds, storm surges and astronomical tides as high tide water level of production makes clear overlay soaring higher water level makes the move to shallow water wave breaking zone, storm tide flow velocity is large and stable, resulting in farmland inundated, coastal erosion, salt fields and ponds burst, docks, dams and other coastal engineering destroyed, causing great economic losses. Relative to the wind by the water, wave and storm tide in port engineering, oil facilities, destruction of coastal protection works plays a more important role.In this paper, QSCAT / NCEP wind data as a mixed-flow and wave field model input conditions, the establishment of the Laizhou Bay area of the storm tide field model and the SWAN wave model to analyze the October 2003 side to the cold wind under the influence of NE, Laizhou Bay changes in sea water, wave characteristics, especially the storm tide characteristics: coastal side of the storm tide along the clockwise flow caused by backwater in the south of the Yellow River mouth, the largest increase up to 2.0m above the water; wave radiation stress distribution and seabed surface Distribution of sediment types are consistent; wave radiation stresses mainly cross section, the storm tide with velocity, continuous flow along shore features.Laizhou Bay for the silt, mud, windy day in the Gulf Coast with a dynamic mechanism of material transport and shape on the seabed topography, wave and storm tide of those who play an important role. Reasonably thorough analysis of characteristics of wave and storm tide during the cold wind making disaster prevention measures, on coastal protection works of great practical significance.
