Nowadays, the expressive form and the species of maps are getting more. As our acquaintance, the traditional flat map is two-dimensional model system for map symbol to express the characteristics of geographical space to color. However, with the development of computer and the three-dimensional visualization technology, as well as its geographic information systems and applications that the traditional two-dimensional plane static map symbolic model that is to sign three-dimensional dynamic model of the direction of the scene. Symbolic model of the three-dimensional study of the performance of the map function can be more powerful, better performance of the image of the map, intuitive, easy to understand.This paper from the three-dimensional visualization technology, describes the three-dimensional visualization of static and dynamic visualization.
