Study On The Growing Rules Of The Ground Fissures On Wei River Basin

Wei river basin is a very intensive area of the development of ground fissures hazards. There are 191 pieces of ground fissures found in basin. Most of them were found in Jing Yang county—north of the basin and Xian city—middle of the basin and Da Li county—east of the basin. The causes and growing characteristic of them are are very complex. The characteristics and growing rules of ground fissures hazards of Wei River basin were analyzed pivot through field survey and data collection in this article. Andthe initial prevention and control measures that based on the harm for ground fissures were made.The ground fissures of Wei River basin divide into structure fissures and non- structure fissures. There has a strong rules of characteristics refer to time and space, form and scale, activities and destruction and so on. It mainly manifested in the close relationship environmental between geology conditions and growing of ground fissures hazards of the basin. Topography and geological structure of the basin control the growing of the ground fissures. Rain and human engineering activities can influence ground fissures. the growing of ground fissures in the space mark regional performance—develop for the eastern basin, but not develop of the western region. The ground fissures are more concentrated near the fault zone and boundary of topography. Or focus on more active small and medium sized region. Grow in time is impacted on small and medium sized earth-quake. It is clear that the emergence of ground fissures in the climax in time is in line with the small and medium sized earthquake, and has a cyclical. According to preliminary estimates, the total economic losses in the Wei river basin to the ground fissures hazards caused are excess of 4 billion. So, the prevention and control measures should be made combined to the type of ground fissures hazards and cause and damage.
