The highest precision in the measurement of x-ray spectroscopy is needed,e.g.in astrophysics and fusion research or to test state-of-the-art atomic structure calculations, especially the QED theory. In this dissertation, the theoretical and experimental studies on QED effect of Li-like highly charged ions(HCI) are investigated, and the reasons for high precision measurement of the 2p3/2-2s1/2 transition line from Li-like highly charged ions for the study of QED effect are given. The tool used in our experiment is our self-build flat crystal spectrometer whose calibration system is the most important part in order to achieve high-precision measurement. Therefore,in the present work,a novel method, the visible light calibration method,is developed, which was first put forward by Bruhus and has been used successfully on HD-EBIT flat crystal spectrometer. In this work,a relatively complete error pass formula is deduced on the basis of a thorough analysis to this method in principle, and our building scheme together with its error analysis is determined. And this calibration system has been tested off-line.Another work of this dissertation is the off-line test of our flat crystal spectrometer to prove that it can work normally by giving its important performance values like detection efficiency and resolving power. And its resolving power has reached an international lever. And our spectrometer has detected the transition lines from doubly-excited states of Li-like Cu ions on-line.This work has been written into an article which is now under revision and is going to be sent to Review of Scientific Instruments magazine.Meanwhile, the fourth chapter of the first part of this dissertation is dedicated to both the measurement and analysis results of the experiment on Li-like Pb ions carried out on Tokyo-EBIT using a flat crystal spectrometer there.Besides,in this work,an analytical work to our former experimental study on the dielectronic recombination(DR) process of highly charged Cu ions on HD-EBIT has been carried out by theoretical study and fit.An article about this work has been published in Chinese Physics Letters magazine.
