Abstract/Summary:
Based on the predecessors' work,many chemical and physical methods,such as ore microscopy, chemical analysis,gold analysis of individual mineral,electronic probe X-Ray microanalysis and X-Ray diffract analysis,have been applied to the study of the mineral characteristics and the mode of gold occurrence of gold in the wenglang gold deposit.Argentite,cerusite,illite and monazite are funded in this area for the first time.At the same time all of the sulfide have the same character of fall short of sulfur.It show that they formed in low sulfur environment.There are two matellogenic periods: hydrothermal period and surface oxidizing activity period.Hydrothermal period is the main endogenetic period,which is composed of three mineralization stages.In the same time,the mineral arisen sequence and the relation of mineral intergrowth are studied.Electrum is the mostly formation of gold in this deposit.Bullion is the second one.The gold granularity commonly between 1.5μm to 62μm.The configuration of them are fleet,strip,worm and erose.They are enwrapped in the crystal cranny or grains gaps of gold-bearing minerals,the purity of gold is lowly,and some of them contain a little of Hg,reflect that the gold mine formed in low temperature and superficial parties.The main gold-bearing minerals is pyrite.The gold's percentage composition of magnetite is low.
