Three-dimensional remote sensing technology was used to Yang Bi County for extracting a typical geological hazards information, its breaking the traditional survey methods of geological hazards restrictions, to play its realistic, image, macroscopy, the real characteristics, made a better results, and has significant theoretical meaning and practical value.Using Landsat 7 ETM+ data image which as a major source of data in geological hazards application. According to the characteristics of remote sensing data and the needs of Yangbi County's geological hazards application, the ETM+ remote sensing data has been processing for following steps: (l)Band combination of optimization, through the band of remote sensing data between the characteristics of statistical analysis and related analysis, has been selected as the best combination of ETM+741 band;(2)Geometric correction, the elimination of satellite remote sensing image geometry deformation and to coordinate with the appropriate information systems and projection; (3)Digital image processing, the use of principal component analysis to enhance the image; (4)Compound with multiple remote sensing information, the main effect has been selected based on a better integration of wavelet,HPF,HIS algorithm ETM+741 and panchromatic band to resolution merge, both generated images retaining good spectral resolution, but also improving the spatial resolution to 15 m.By means of vectorizating Yangbi County's 1:50000 contour map, DEM generated and then coordination with remote sensing image, Yangbi County's three-dimensional remote sensing terrain has been established in VirtualGIS and DEM data been analysised by ARCGIS. Ultimately, extracted Yangbi County's typical information on geological hazards. Main achievement are as follows:1. Yangbi County's DEM data have been analysised based on the terrain of ARCGIS, extracted the study area's factors of the slope and aspect, as the geological hazards factors to consider unificatly, the conclusions drawn.2. Major environmental factors of geological hazards have been researching by the three-dimensional remote sensing characteristics, including interpretation of studying area's factors of weather temperature, rainfall hydrology, vegetation, soil, earthquake and human engineering, access to the interpretation of the above factors signs.3. Researching the major geological factors of geological hazards by the three-dimensional remote sensing characteristics, including interpretation of studying area's factors of terrain landform, formation lithologic and geological structure, made those factors's interpretational signs of three-dimensional remote sensing.4. Extracted three-dimensional remote sensing information of typical geological hazards , mainly on the landslide, collapse, debris flow.5. Identification of distribution characteristics of typical geological hazards in the Yangbi County.
