| Displaying planar image by using seismic section and horizontal slice is a traditional interpret method of 3-D seismic data, which has great localization.Many years ago,people brought forword seismic data use 3-D interpretation. Applying scientific visualization to seismic data comes into being,seismic visualization technology, which includes surface visualization and volume rendering.In this paper, we will mainly research surface visualization algorithm in seismic data field.The idea of this paper is based on surface visualization.First,based on the amplitude of the 3D seismic data,3D seismic data is quantified,then the 2D section plane is drawed out from 3D seismic data sets.Second,we choose a suitable seed from the section plane.Then, a point-collection is traced by using a quick tracing strategy based of region growing,and the reflection surface is drawed out from this point-collection.In the end,the 3D image is displayed.Under VC ++ 6.0 development environments on Microsoft Windows XP plafform,I have worked out the application which can realize surface visualization method of three-dimensional seismic data field.Finally, this paper summarized the gain and loss of the design and pointed out the developmental direction of working further. |
