The novel detection technology of Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) assay is known to monitor interaction between biomoleculars real time and ascertain the kinds of reactants as well as their concentrate without isolation and purification. SPR sensors are valuable analytical tools with a broad range of applications from laboratory assays to study for food safety, drug discovery and environmental pollutant monitoring, which have the feature of high sensitivity, label free, small amount of sample and rapid speed of detection. However, the commercially available SPR instrument systems are high cost and not portable. Study and development for a compact, inexpensive biosensor instrument capable of rapid field detection specialized for monitoring trace pollutants in environment is the objection of many researchers. A small SPR sensor system is developed which has Spreeta~a compact, integrated SPR sensor as its core component and some peripheral equipments including sample cell ,micro flow system, syringe pump based on theory analysis and experiment research. The main contents are listed as follows.In chapter 1, status and hazard of and the main detection methods and devices for organic trace pollutants are discussed in the paper. Research status of SPR technology at home and abroad is introduced.In chapter 2, the basic principle of SPR and main detection method for SPR sensors are presented. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation for bi-beam testing technology are highlighted. The Key system structures of SPR sensor are presented.In chapter 3, the general principle and detection method of SPR biosensors are discussed. Application fields of SPR biosensors are also introduced.In chapter 4, research status for SPR sensoring devices is discussed. A small SPR sensor system self-developed is introduced. The function and structure of each part of the sensor system is illustrated in detail.In chapter 5, function modules and their realization method of analysis and application of the software for SPR detection device are introduced.In chapter 6, standard samples of Bovine serum albumin (BSA) and estradiol of different concentration are tested and calibrate curves are established using the sensor system self-developed.Chapter 7 summarize the paper and look forward to the research work in the future.
