China is a country in which geological disasters happened frequently. With the accretion of reformation and opening extent and manifold of engineering building project, the frequency and the intension of geological disasters and the loss of people's lives and properties is becoming bigger and bigger. It has formed a set of quite integrated evaluate method and theory through building project geological disasters fatalness since the end of 1999, but it is restricted to qualitative investigation and restricts the development of geological disasters fatalness evaluation.At present there exists certain subjectivity and uncertainty during building project geological disasters fatalness evaluation subarea, which is influenced by the knowledge level, the vocational level and experience of the evaluation report writers. In order to dodge the risk, some evaluating units deliberately exaggerate the harms of geological disasters and artificially enhance the rank of the fatalness subarea, which increase some nonessential funds for construction units to prevent geological disasters.Aiming at the above problems of building project geological disasters fatalness evaluation subarea, the text attempts to adopt quantitative method in the subarea. Through the research of the features of building project geological disasters fatalness evaluation work and the comparative analysis of geological disasters evaluation methods, the text composes a method system which is on the basis of information content numeration, according to factors leading to geological disasters of carrying through building project geological disasters fatalness subarea. It mainly got the below achievements through the research of the text:1. Through the comparison of layer analysis, the fuzzy mathematics judgment law and information content numeration, selecting information content numeration to apply in geological disasters fatalness evaluation quantitative subarea and optimizinginformation content numeration. And setting up a set of technic channel and work flow of building project geological disasters fatalness subarea dosing device.2. Analyzing the factors that influence building project geological disasters fatalness evaluation subarea, including the following four factors: geological environmental factors, the actual develop extent of disaster, geological disasters factors possible to be induced and aggravated and the social factor. Determining those factors as evaluating factors, which are precipitation, terrain slope, the slope height, the gneiss type, the geological structure, the earthquake, hydrogeological conditions, the human project activity, the actual develop extent of geological disaster, the destroyed extent of geological environment influenced by project building and the social factor.3. Adopting method of scoring by specialist to define the value and modulus of every evaluating factor and determine the state value of evaluating factors according to the state of every evaluating factor.4. Setting up synthetic evaluation model equation based on the information content numeration according to evaluating factor and every factor's value, and adopting backcalculation method to divide information content synthetic evaluation value into three sections, to determine geological disasters fatalness rank.5. Ascertain the dependability of the method via the finished example verification of building project geological disasters fatalness evaluation.
