Biochip is an emerging high technology in biometrics in recent years, and is widely applied to many fields such as life science research, diagnosis, drug development, judicial evaluation, foods and environment supervision, etc. Suspension biochip has many advantages over traditional flat biochip, and becomes the focus of research gradually at present. The suspension biochip is analyzed through processing of fluorescent images of fluid field, but corresponding research is seldom.In this paper, image processing in the detection of suspension biochip was studied and integrated solution of image processing was brought up. The graphic development environment LabVIEW was used to implement the whole process. In addition, movement in fluid field was also analyzed, which is beneficial to channel design and suspension biochip continuous analysis. The non-intrusive technique -Particle image velocimetry (PIV) is used to analyze the fluid field.First of all, principle of biochip was introduced and the general structure and each unit of suspension biochip detecting system were analyzed. Then we proposed the integrated solution of image processing, including pre-processing, recognizing sample object and obtaining its position, extracting intensity of sample signal, calculating the intensity of background, etc. Emphasis is the analysis of sample object recognition based on matching technology. All the process was completed by modules of LabVIEW. And following, the paper analyzed impact of velocity distribution in fluid field to the final detection results, studied PIV technology and designed its processing software. The experimental detection result of Spherotech fluorescent mierospheres was given and analyzed, which verified the feasibility of suspension biochip parallel detection system and effect of the image processing solution. In addition, the elementary result of micro-channel through PIV technology is also analyzed. The summarization and the expectation are provided in the end.
