On the base of the existing research harvest, the paper has extended somesystem reliability of the two typical system:(1) A two-unit different paralleled repairable system with a replaceablefacility and delay repair is studied by using Markov renewal process theory.Assuming that the life of each unit has exponential distribution, the delay repairtime and the repair time both have general distributions, and the repair facility'slife has exponential distribution and its repair time has general distribution, someprimary reliability quantities, such as the system's mean failure times, availability and the expected failure number during (0,t],and so on, are obtained.Furthermore, the generalized busy period of the repair facility is defined, and a new approach to analyze the repair facility's reliability quantities isprovided by total probability decomposition. The following reliability indexesare obtained: 1) The probability that the repair facility is replaced at time t andthe numbers of the units repaired completely by the repair facility during itsgeneralized busy period; 2) The numbers (The time) of the repair facility isreplaced during the generalized repair time of the unit ; 3) The asymptoticexpansion of the expected number (time) of the repair facility is replacedduring (0,t]. Some important decomposition relations are given.(2) The reliability of a two-dissimilar-unit cold standby system withseparayted repair rule is discussed. In the system, the repair distribution of oneunit is assumed to be Erlang and the other three distributions to be continuous.By using the supplementary variable method and the tool of the Laplacetransform, Some main reliability indexes of the system are derived.
