We introduces the development of measuring spectrum technique, especially multichannel measuring technique for spectrum, from past to the future after investigating the market of spectrometers fully. Then we design a multichannel and fast measurement system of spectrum, basing on the dispersion and image principle of concave flat-field grating, and high sensitivity and fast response performance of NMOS linear image sensor. This system includes three sections: optical system, electronic circuit system and software system. At last we recommend many its applications.In our design, its optical system is with two entrance slits, concave flat-field grating and 1024-pixel NMOS detector. Electronic circuit system makes up of NMOS driver circuit, high-speed pulse generator, high-speed A/D converter (2M, 16bit)and Micro controller. The software system is visual and convenient, and it calibrates the wavelength with cubic equation and the sensitivity for all pixels, this system can apply all kind of field with different parameters display interface. This system realizes ms range measuring speed, 190nm-900nm spectrum range, <0.02nm measuring precision, 10~5dynamic range, though only with <0.5m× 0.2m × 0.3m size. Those advantages extend its applied situation and field.In the first chapter, we analyse development of spectrum measurement technique from past to the future as a whole, then bring forward the summary and meaning of our system. In the second chapter, we introduce the basic principle and theory of our system, including the dispersion and image principle of concave grating, some basic optical structures of multichannel spectrograph, definitions of some color parameters in spectrum-measuring applications, and principle of some multichannel detectors. The third chapter, we discuss how we design and calibrate our system in detail. And in the fourth chapter, we test performance parameters of our system andintroduce some example applications of our system, and at last chapter we summarize the characteristics of our system and advance some improved suggests for the future.
