The main purpose of physical geodesy is to ascertain the outer Earth gravity field and geoid. We had used height anomaly to solve the mixed boundary value problem by measuring the value of gravity of standpoint, level coordinate and height. Know to all, the gravity measurement is not difficult in itself, what obstructed the intensive gravity measurement is the coordinate and height measurement of gravity point. With the development of three-dimensional measurement of GPS, there takes place some new gravitational data types, such as the disturbing gravity data, aerial gravity data and satellite gravity data, which ascend the data accuracy and improve the calculational methods. These data has played the most important role in calculating the highly precise earth exterior gravity. In this paper, the author had mainly finished determining the earth gravity field and the relating value. The main contents are as follows:1. The disturbing gravity has almost the same spectrum characteristic as the gravity anomaly. They are equal especially in high frequency band, and have the same function in the actual various problems.2. The disturbing gravity is calculated easier than the gravity anomaly. Comparing the Hotine formula using disturbing gravity with the Stokes formula using gravity anomaly, the former is simpler to compute, which is same as the back in the two approximate planes. Now all kinds of methods (such as FFT) to calculate the gravity field are applicable to the Hotine formula of inputting the disturbing gravity.3. With the definition of the Neumann boundary value, the author inquires the Hotine formula of the sphere Neumann boundary value to get the ellipsoid correct of the Hotine formula in this paper, which solves the ground Hotine boundary value by three different methods.4. This paper gives the gravitational potential coefficient model and the factorial square model and shows the method of computing the vertical deflection and the height anomaly by using the disturbing gravity and the terrain data in regional gravity field.5. In course of dealing with data , the author make the software which has many functions such as transforming the coordinate system, transforming the disturbing gravity and the gravity anomaly, gridding the disturbing gravity and computing the vertical deflection and the gravity anomaly.
