Popper is one of the most influential scientific philosophers in the world in the 20th century. He is an only science philosopher useful to them who scientists avowed too. His philosophy of science with the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge at the core causes people's extensive concern; people carry on research to it from each different starting point. Writing purpose of me lie in, through system explain of the theory of scientific knowledge increase to excavate its advances and limitations.This thesis will analysis and appraise the theory of scientific knowledge increase from four respect:First part, Expound mainly the thought origin of the theory of scientific knowledge increase. Pass analysis the theory of scientific knowledge increase in Greek period represented by Plato and Aristotle, and in modern times of Europe represented by Francis Bacon, David Hume and Kant, and in logic scientific knowledge of positivism which was described as real philosophy of science school, indicate the relation of inheriting and criticism between the theories.Second part, I will carries on the detailed explanation of the theory of scientific knowledge increase of Popper. According to the scientific development model of Popper, divide its theory into five parts, namely science begins with the question, bold supposition that the scientific theory is, scientific method of progress " the law of try on by mistake ", scientific standard of progress " falsification degree ", scientific goal of progress to approach the truth. On the basis of the logic doctrine inclination of the early science development model of Popper, to later stage, he connects growth and evolutionism of scientific knowledge again, emphasizes the scientific human nature and dynamics of scientific progress further.The third part, Proceed with two respects and analysis about the influence of Popper's scientific knowledge increases theory. Popper's theory not merely influence the development of philosophy of science with the question in science, science progressive mechanism and science progressive goal, but also have a positive connection with SSK, especially the relativism in SSK, in fact it is the deep development of subjective in the Popper's theory.The fourth part, I will appraise it again on the basis of the thing that the scholars' appraisal of the theory of Popper's scientific knowledge in the past.
