1. Study on Foraging Behavior of Sichuan Golden Monkey(Rhinopithecus roxellana)The foraging behaviors of different sex-age golden monkeys were observed and the diet of Qingling Snub-nosed monkey was surveyed in Zhouzhi National Reserve. The result shows that: there is no sexual difference, while there is significantly differnce between age classes in foraging behavior, including foraging position, feeding rate, and forageing act preference. The adult has higher selection of middle position than expectation ( x2= 12.0602, df=3, p<0.01) while the juveniles and the infants had higher selection of crown than expectation. There is no different between sex classes in foraging behaviors (AM: x2= 3.8673, df = 4, p=0.42>0.05, AF: x2 = 3.5664, df=4, p=0.46>0.05) but there is a significant difference between age calsses (The juvenile and the infant: x2= 39.7131, df= 3, p < 0.01; The adult: x2 = 35.0212, df=4, p < 0.01). There is no different in sex in foraging behaviors (AM: x2= 3.8673, df = 4, p=0.42>0.05; AF: x2 = 3.5664, df = 4, p =0.46>0.05) but there is a significant difference between age classes. They shift food parts from seeds in autumn to barks, buds and lichen in winter, leaf in spring and summer. They shift not only the food parts but also food specieses seasonally, they had worst diet in winter, and only 6 specieses and lichen and bark on these specieses to eat, while they could find buds, green leaves, unfold leaves, seeds and fruits of 11, 23 and 30 plants specieses to eat in autumn, spring and summer respectively.
