As the targets and areas of the seismic exploration changes, for example, from middle deep and shallow parts to super shallow parts under ground, the overall S/N ratio of data from target zones becomes low. While the increasing variety and complexity of seismic data processing, we need to combine all kinds of exploration in prospecting object.Forward modeling is often used in explaining of seismic data, because conventional convolution model can't simulate the features of the dynamics of elastic wave. Base on theory of common offset gathers, I simulate the object detected using finite element method. This paper discusses subjects as follows:In the chapter I ,in order to solve the problem that common refection seismic method can't do ,high density multi-wave array seismic imaging method is used in the project. In the chapter II,seismic data was synthesized by FEM.In the chapter III,by analyzing models ,1 get the optimum offset , horizontal and vertical resolution of all kinds of models. In the chapter IV,by contrasting and analyzing common offset gathers equivalent model with field data obtained in the project . we can confirm it is applicable for engineering geophysics. In the end, I come to a conclusion and put forward some advice, if the method is put into practice ,we can receive an good result.
