Coastal Zone Research And Application Of Remote Sensing Mapping Techniques

The coast is one of the most important zones influences the human. The coastal maps, which are needed for one important part of coastal resource database, expresse the character of coast in detail. Remote sensing mapping has been the primate approach to design coastal map. This paper researches the technology of remote sensing mapping from three aspects: election of data sources, essentials of the coastal map and geometric coordinate of the remote sensing image.The main contents of conclusions are:1, Applying different data sources synthetically can provide more effective and more abundant information for the coastal remote sensing mapping.2, As a result of special natural coastal conditions, the projection, coordinate and the scale of coastal map have particularity.3, The paper brings forward a new method for geometric coordinate in coast which called SCL(seawall control line)method. It chooses seawall as control line for the geometric coordinate. The research shows that SCL method can reduce error on the coastal remote sensing image and enlarge the using category of these images.4, The conclusions made in this paper can be used in the coastal remote sensing mapping and they are exercisable. Even more they can support more corrected image for coastal resources research. They will make coastal remote sensing mapping more standardized and more informationized.
