In solving the Helmholtz equation in the acoustical waveguides with a curved bottom, slow convergence may occurs when the linear local orthogonal transformation is adopted. In this paper, A class of Nonlinear Local Orthogonal Transformations(NLOT) is proposed. It is an approach to improve the slow convergence mentioned above. The general forms of the transformed new equation and the coefficients are also given. Numerical simulations show that it can be efficiently used in solving the Helmholtz equation. |
