The Gejiu super-large tin-copper-polymetallic deposit is famous for producing tin. But now the sustainable development of the whole Gejiu ore district faces the tremendous challenge, that is to say, the ore in the surface of ground and in the shallow stratum will soon be mined completely. The situation of resources in Gejiu ore district is very tension. Resources of almost all the mine enterprise are so rare that new ore-body must be found. So is the situation of Gejiu Xinjian Mine Co. LTD.Because almost all the ore in the surface of ground and in the shallow stratum has been found, the increase of resources should be concentrated on deep stratum and outer of the mine enterprise. But only depended on the normal geological methods and regulations, the effect is not good. So we must introduce new geological theories and methods. In this paper the ore-prospecting method of synthetic information gained by analyzing remote sensing information, geological information, geophysical and geochemical information is introduced and the synthetic information ore-prospecting model has been set up. The main conclusions are summarized as follows:1.The formation of tin-polymetallic deposits is controlled by strata, structure and magma; Obviously the enrichment of ore-bodys is controlled by faults, strata and the lithology, and faults are the major factor.2.The feature of geochemical primary halo in Longshujiao ore segment shows that there is a positive abnormality of FI set of main chemical elements at 96~ 100 investigating line, Longshujiao fault and fault 11-29, a east-north a positive abnormality of Fs set of main chemical elements around 98 investigating line, big area positive abnormality of F4 set of main chemical elements in east ore segment and the feature of this abnormality is like the shape of the main ore-body in the west. The feature of distribution of metal elements shows the protuberance of granite in Huangnipo is amined point.3.By investigating the ground with TEM in 96,98 and 100 investigating line, there is a low resistance abnormality in 98 investigating line. Because the location of the abnormality is the junction of borderline of stratum T2gf and stratum T2g13, little "anticline" and fault 11-28, it can be speculated that there are oxidized ore-bodys in stratum T2g12 and stratum T2g143.4.The feature of linearity and ring structures shows that three structural lenses that are formed by the junction of four level I faults in alignment are helpful to the formation of ore-body. In Longshujiao and Longtouzhai lenes there are many intersectant east-north and west-north low level faults, so they are concentration place of ore-bodys.5.Seven ore-prospecting areas are conclude by the integrate remote sensing information.
