Landscape spatial pattern is the concrete expression of landscape spatial alloplasm, it show the interaction result of natural and decide all kinds of nature environment factors distribution and combination in landscape spatial, and then restrict ecology program. The fixed quantity analysis of land use landscape pattern, discover the distributed discipline of patch in landscape, in order to find out the potential useful discipline from the disorder landscape appearance. Research of the landuse pattern, can help to define ecosystem service function of the region's spatial location, make a foundation for the landuse pattern evolution. Duan is a typical karst area, has a fragile ecology environment, research on duan landuse pattern to provide decision basis for evaluate ecology environment, region planning and region economy development. This research based on spatial distribution of duan landuse types, combine with GIS technology. This research primary coverage includes:1. Select special landscape pattern index, do some research on the analysis of landscape plaque character, landscape heterogeneity, and so on, in order to analysis duan landscape pattern. We understand the duan landscape pattern in more details, It is showed that ,the main type of land utilization are bare land, because of the human disturbance ,the residence land and drought land have higher fragmentation; the woodland have mass distribution; the bare land and drought land have higher complex of shape. Generally speaking, the research region have complex landscape styles with higher fragmentation, badly connection and weaker ability of resist of the outside disturbance.2. Take the 1:10000 terrain map as the object, using three different spatial interpolation methods, produce Digital Elevation Model, and compare. And then select suits in the duan karst mountainous area interpolation computational method namely double three times multinomial interpolation, and produce the Digital Elevation Model.3. Take DEM as the object, using six different algorithms to withdraw the slope separately, and compare. And then select suits in the duan karst mountainous area slope computational method namely third-order counter-distance square power difference slope algorithm carries on the slope computation, the production slope data, and produce the slope data.4. The thesis take the duan town as the example, based on DEM data, land use map and other materials from field survey, the study analyzed the spatial pattern of landuse and the relationship between land use and topography in the research zone by creating DEM, geomorphologic zoning and altitude classification. The results showed that, spatial distribution of landuse types is characterized by strong area differentiation. Even thought it is the same land use type, the spatial distribution is diversified in different geomorphologic sub-area and altitude sub-zone. With the rise of altitude, the area of residence land decreased, but the area of woodland and drought land increased before and then decreased after, the bare land also the main type of land utilization.
