From Technical Rationality To Rational Technology Evolution

People realized that the sacred aura of shielding technology was receding gradually when the technological rationality brought more and more unstable factors into the human society. In western developed countries, the reason of guiding the technology had been quietly in transition for the understanding of technical knowledge and skills were more depth than many developing countries. However, in developing countries, for example China in which country with the large population and per capita a serious shortage of resources, industrial development had lagged and the pressure of economic development was as same as a big mountain in the minds of people. However, under the guidance of technological reason, what the technology taking to human had been not only a high-speed economic growth but also ecological damage and the overall imbalance in social development. It is important to change the reason of technological practice immediately in order to achieve social harmony, sustainable development.The main content of this paper studies were as follows:(1)This paper had structured and sorted out the relationship of reason, reason of technological practice, technological rationality, and demonstrated that the technological rationality had been a particular performance of reason of technological practice. As a product of the times it would be abandoned against reason and reason of technological practice with the times.(2) This paper had mined potential of its in-house and external factors around it by analyzing reasons arising of technological rationality in order to reveal how technological rationality had made the fate of the people. On this basis, by analyzing the technical rationality and irrationality, the paper found out that technical rationality was a reasonable tool to the source of human well-being and unlimited expansion of technology tools in a rational and covered e the value of the people value as origin were reasons of most of the crisis in modern society.(3) This paper uncovered out its core had been destroyed and the evolution of reason of technological practice was an inevitable trend and we would set out a new model of reason of technological practice imminently across thinking of the three pillars of the technological rationality-reason, science, nature.(4)The paper had put forward the concept of rational technology rather referring to it as "modern rational guiding to the development of technology" than the combination of a series of technical. As a concept, the concept was new things from abandoning and developing of technological rationality. The paper had clarified the relationship between it and technological rationality and pointed out that it had inherent characteristics on loving human well-being, taking care of environment and paying attention to a harmonious society.(5) For technical and social development problems, we could promote the evolution of reason of technological practice from a moral, the management, technological just application in the global.The main conclusions of this paper were as follows:(1) As a stage results of development of reason, the technological rationality would be replaced by new reason of technological practice.(2) The evolution from the technological rationality to rational technology was a natural trend and could only accelerate the man-made, non-stop.(3) From the moral, administration, global perspectives could be found to promote the evolution of reason of technological practice.
