The landslide of open pit mine side is a kind of very serious hidden troubles in security of mine, which brings man of the huge loss. Carrying on early-warning forecast to the mineral mountain side is one of the important measures which reduces disaster. This is a trend that making use of the technology of GPS and GIS in carrying on the slope deformation monitoring in open pit mine and beforehand alarm and forecast in the management of security production of the mineral mountain enterprise.The paper has established the slope deformation monitoring in open pit mine and beforehand alarm and forecast management system, which is according to analyze the deformation causation of the slope of open pit Mine, combine together GPS and GIS and apply Visual C#, Dreamweaver and the geography information system of the ArcGIS9.0 control piece. The aim lies in providing an visual,intuitionist and credible theory to monitoring system of slope of open pit Mine. The paper introduced the whole processes of the mine system of distortion monitor and early-warning forecast in detail, the main research aspectses are as follow:â‘ tudy on the main mode, the merit and shortcoming for the monitor methods of the open pit mine with the GPS technique in the current years, and analyze the general treatment of the examination instrument of the GPS;â‘¡nalyze the design process of the management system of the monitor on slope of the open pit mine and early warning and forecast in detail, which developed form aspects as follow:requirement analysis, collectivity design, particular designed and the realization technology in details;â‘¢Research the mode of adopting the GIS in the GPS data management, and the dynamic graphics display of GPS data, and establish the monitor threshold according to Verhulst gray model based on the displacement.In the meantime, this paper combines apply instance in concretely example of this system, does examination in system on making use of one part of simulant monitor datas. The result shows that this system can realize natural function of the system of slope deformation monitoring in open pit mine and beforehand alarm and forecast.
