Finite Type-a Semigroup Algebras

In this thesis, finite type-A semigroup algebras are studied. This thesis isdivided into five sections.After providing some preliminaries and some characterizations of finite type-A semigroups, we obtain the isomorphism theorem of finite type-A semigroupalgebras by using M(o|¨)bius functions, and as an application, we also obtain anysemigroup algebras of finite type-A semigroups has an identity. The main re-sult is that any semigroup algebra of finite type-A semigroups has a generalizedtriangular matrix representation. Finally, in Section 5, we consider the struc-ture of Jacobson radicals of semigroup algebras of finite type-A semigroups. Inparticular, the semiprimitive of finite type-A semigroup algebras are researched.
