Submarine tunnel is a new ocean engineering rises in our country in recent years.It was gradual application in our coastal cities and has broad prospects.There are two submarine tunnels have been built in continental area,Xiang'an submarine tunnel at Xiamen and Jiaozhou bay submarine tunnel.The tunnels'built enrich our experience on design code,construction technique and construction management.Our country is vast territory and has many geological hazard. Geological hazard is an important factor to effect our economic development and infrastructure. Submarine tunnel is more subjected by geological conditions because complex submarine geology.This paper introduces common types of geologic hazard and their distribution,analysis the method and importance of geological hazard assessment.Then,the paper take Dalian bay submarine tunnel for example,Basde on the natural survey,geologic environment features and the researches of domestic and foreign scholars,takes the important influence geologic environment features as evaluation factors.With the factors,the paper establishes evaluation model,assess engineering geological condition with the analytic hierarchy process.Last,the paper predictes the possible geologic hazards and proposes control measures.Through the paper,the main geological condition influence factors of Dalian bay submarine tunnel was comprehensive evaluated,it's basis for preventing geologic hazard.
